Variator Parts
« on: June 29, 2021, 08:14:10 AM »
I'm looking for replacement sliders for my 2010 Sym 11 125.
They are the 3 triangular rubbers. I have tried everywhere without success.
Any help much appreciated.

I think you're referring to the variator slides.
Something like this?

No, they are alternatives to rollers. The sliders are the three triangular rubbers that fit onto the metal cage at the back of the variator

Umm yeah. Not all sliders are triangular.
That's just the pic that pulled up on that site off google for a Fiddle II.  Maybe for the 50.  I dunno.  I've never taken apart a Fiddle II variator.

You could also google the P/N.  22132-KN2-900-A
http://www.symcanada.com/techSpecs.html is a useful link to find that.  It's an old set of catalogs and the fiddle seems to be the fiddle II as luck would have it.
Found this checking with that.

There were a few others too, so that may be your answer..
And Yes... I am aware of DP "Sliders" for replacing your rollers.  They look a lot different from that.  I use them.
