SIDE SHIELDS
« on: July 17, 2011, 03:42:04 AM »
The brochure I got when I bought my scoot has a picture of side shields, has anyone got these? how well do they work?
I have been riding in minus conditions and would like anything that would cut back on the windchill factor
Regards
Doug

When I bought my 300 a few months ago I inquired about this with the salesman. He brought one out and demonstrated it for me. It's a kind of apron that fastens to each side of the scooter and the center part lays over you lap. I declined taking one. Prefer just to dress warmer.

Thanks but the brochure showed what looked like fixed panels that clipped on the sides still leaving enough room to get your feet in. I will try find the brochure.

I thought the same thing when I first saw the brochure. Then the salesman demonstrated it and I lost interest right away.

Yes, I'm also looking for the side wind deflectors, I've seen them on a 400 Burgman. Wonder if they'll fit a SYM 300 also?
