General Discussion / Re: Sym Voyager 125 gts 2007

Well, Bill, it depends mostly on where you are. In the US, I doubt it, but if, you're in trouble. If you're in the UK, you have a better chance. If you're in Taiwan you got a better shot.

I would expect a little more, but who knows? Get it running and report what happens.

Are you sure it isn't already? How fast will it go / do you expect it to go?

Something happened. Fire, short, something. Shitty seller didn't mention it, but a good project. Good luck.

Errol, is there any pressure on the bars? Did you have turn them with extra effort? If so, move the bars around a little, see if that helps.

General Discussion / Re: Sym owners manuals - where can I get ???

I used to get manuals from, but either the manuals have been removed or are unavailable from the US.

HD200 / Re: Replaced my engine, now I'm having battery issues?

I agree with Mingridesbikes. Can you check voltage to battery while running? It is possible the stator is why it was a parts bike.

I had owned my '06 HD200 a few years when it failed to start leaving work. Tried this and that to no effect, so called my wife to pick me up then head back with my pickup and MotoTote hitch carrier.

As I pushed the bike up the ramp, my hand touched the kill switch. Strap the scout down, toggle the switch, and it starts right up. Some times it's the simple things.  ;D

That sucks, LisaRae. I am sorry the criminal bastards have destroyed your scoots. Screw them.

I can't find a Manual for the Orbit III/Mask, is it new? Could you ask the dealer?  Good Luck!

I don't think so.

Another consideration is that many states, mine ( AZ ) included, do not test motorcycles or scooters for emissions. So we could get Euro 10 and wouldn't know the difference.

I have a feeling that one of Carter Bros. troubles -there were many - was that they carried most every model SYM made. After "the fire" and the change to Alliance, the lineup is limited and will stay that way, emissions or not.

The US importer shows the Citycom, the Fiddle III, the Mio 50 and the Wolf. Been that way for some time.
