Tires for Fiddle II 50

What kind of tires you are using in your Fiddle?

I change original tires for Metzeler tires; front 130/70/12 and rear 140/70/12 and now it`s quite good to drive and handle.

Actually, I get to know today that in Finland it`s illegal to change tires sizes. It have to be 110/70/12 in front and 120/70/12 in rear!  :P I will any way keep those tires  ;).

Do the cops in finland carry and use measuring devices and manuals for every vehicle out there? In other words how the heck will they know what the factory equipped size is and how could they enforce it? Pull over vehicles just to read the tire size on the wheel?? I don't get it.

I've just had ty have a new front tyre fitted to my Mk1 fiddle - the local garage have fitted a Delitire 100/90 - 10 but looking at my owners manual it says it should be a 3.00 - 10 42j.
Anyone know if that's OK ?
