Looking for pics of the pannier mounts
« on: February 23, 2010, 01:10:51 PM »
I was hoping someone with the Symba's hard-case panniers might be willing to post some pictures of how they attach (the case mount and the scoot mount), because I haven't been able to track down any details on that. I'm thinking I'd like something a bit more heavy-duty and slightly larger (Pelican cases probably) and am thinking that replicating how the OEM ones attach would be the best way.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have a pair of the panniers, and here's the mounting instructions that came with them.  I haven't done the assembly yet, as it's way too cold outside!

Thanks, that kinda helps. I'm thinking I'll need to see it fully attached to really get it in my head as it's not quite clear to me, from that, where the metal brackets are attaching on the Symba itself.

I'm hoping that the mount kit can be ordered separately and I can just use that. I assume that it would be since it's plausible that it could get bent out of whack if you accidentally rode too close to something hard and hit your case.
