My wife needed to use my truck last Thursday, so I had  Wink to get the HD out to get to work.  It felt great to be riding again.  The mornings have been a bit "fresh", around 17 deg F to 19 deg F, but the drive home has been great in the high 30's to low 40's.  Now that it is out there is no putting it back into storage until the end of this season.

I didn't realize how much I missed riding it.

Have a great 2010!

Just be careful whenever the temp has dropped below freezing. If there is frost on the windows of your car DO NOT RIDE. That is black ice on the road.

I second that motion!!!! and regardless of what the temperature is, black ice can be in many forms and it does not have to be below freezing to form, nor does it have to frost.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT

I went down when it was 34 degrees out.

Last year I went down on black, luckily was at a very low speed, while trying to make a left turn. My scooter still bares some scars from that night. Like others have said, really be careful when riding in sub-freezing temps, or on roads that are shaded with near freezing temps. Have hit patches of frozen pavement with temps near 40 degrees on shaded roads.

I agree.  There hadn't been any snow or rain here for a while and the roads I ride to work on are very well traveled so they were dry.  I am also lucky enough to have a short drive to work.

Now that it's raining and lower temps it will be in the garage until it is dry and/or warmer.
