That's the link above.     Nice looking - very old school.  Can't wait to see the price.

Is this bike coming here or not? I can understand how federalization can introduce delays, but it seems like SYM US doesn't want anyone to know about it yet. I only discovered the specs page that was posted here because it takes you there if you look for specs of the RS50 scooter. Grin (Is there no 2010 RS50?)

Buyer's guide websites like Cycle World and Motorcyclist Online are showing it as a 2010 model with an MSRP of $2999. Cycle World has some little tidbits:

Looks like California does indeed get to wait even longer.

The model of SYM150 Wolf that people are comparing to the Enfield is nothing more than a Taiwanese post office delivery bike (sans post office fuel tank logo).  All the mailmen here use them.  They will carry quite a load,  are light and easy to maneouver..and they sip gas---a cost accountant's dream.  The same bike painted a burnt yellow colour, is often used by the national power (electricity) company.  They are good urban dispatch bikes.

The same could be said for a lot of great vehicles... the Australian posties use Honda CT110s... the US Postal Service used to use a derivative of the Jeep CJ (they now have specially-designed vans).

They've removed all the references to the Classic from SYM USA'a website but it now appears on Carter Bros.' website under a separate motorcycle section.

I'm sure the fire is only going to add to whatever delays and confusion that were already there. It's a shame, because I really prefer the vintage Honda design of the Wolf/Classic to the other options for light motorcycles in the US, which are all either plasticky or faux-British.
