headlight
« on: October 18, 2013, 05:58:33 PM »
hi all- question- I just got home tonight, and noticed my low-beam headlight has died, but the highbeam is fine. I've been looking for information, but can't tell if I just need a new bulb? (but isn't it just one bulb for both?) Thanks for any info!

thanks LisaRae-- I assumed it was one bulb, but then again, I was a bit concerned it might be something more serious.

As long as the bright works you're OK until you can get a replacement.  All of us down here run our brights at all times.  Better to be seen than not, we say.

thanks HJ- I may look for that bulb. I replaced mine with one from the dealer (same as what it came with), and it lasted exactly one day. And failed (both regular & high beams) as I was about to head home. At night. Not the most fun ride I've had to say the least.
