Clutch installation
« on: February 03, 2018, 09:50:09 AM »
Hey all, wondering if anyone has had experience with replacing the clutch assembly in their Symba. I took mine in a while back to try and identify the source of the difficult shifting. My local shop looked at it and adjusted the clutch and said it probably would need a new clutch at some point. After riding on it for a while the shifting is marginally better than it was (though by no means perfect), so I ordered a new clutch from Cam. My local shop recommended buying a new clutch as opposed to just replacing the clutch plates, so that's what I did. They said it's a pretty quick installation, but that doesn't mean it would be quick for a novice mechanic such as myself.  ;D So if anyone has any experience with doing this and how difficult a job it is, please let me know!
