SYM Wolf expenses
« on: January 17, 2018, 07:13:30 AM »
I should introduce myself first. I'm a newbie who just finished his MSF course and is about to get his MC license through the mail, and I began looking for a starter bike to ride on. Along the way, I found out about the SYM Wolf, and I thought it was worth the time to research.

Considering that I convinced my parents on a motorcycle on the premise that they are cheaper than a car (lol)... How has the Wolf affected your wallets? I'm not necessarily mechanically inclined currently, but I'm willing to learn especially since I've heard this bike is fairly simple. I'll be using it as my main mode of transportation, so I can assume heavy usage. Answers are greatly appreciated.

The wolf is a great starter bike. Super easy to maintain, and takes heavy usage like a champ. I put 5400 miles on mine last year. Just do the oil changes consistently and she will treat you well.

Welcome !!   What part of the country are you in?

Is your father mechanically inclined?  Do you have friends who ride now?

No and no, sadly. All of the work would have to be done by myself. I live in CA.
