Lots of good options out there.
Are you removing the battery and bringing it inside?  I do.
I use one of those cheap Harbor Freight units on it like this one

Every week or two I let the charger run overnight - no need to leave it on all the time.
Get your motor runnin' .. get out on the highway.

I have been using Del Tran battery tenders on several cars and motorcycles for years.  I can not say enough good points about them.  Never been let down yet and the cost is not much more than the junk store models.

My Wolf is kept in my garage so i dont need to remove the stock battery. Use a Battery Tender jr on it. Im usually able to ride Wolfie 12 months a year (less often in winter) so that prolly helps. Machines like to run- not sit.

Have mine on trickle charger, had to start it by a kick, too cold to start otherwise!  Some chargers bleed off and suck the life outta your battery if you don't disconnect them every so often! Just a truth about chargers , eh?

I've had that trouble on a couple of marginal batteries using battery tender juniors.

After I put in fresh batteries on the respective bikes I haven' t hadn't the issue.
