Love those handlebars!
« on: September 07, 2017, 07:05:46 PM »
Got to ride my Wolf today with the new standard handlebars installed. Loved it! My back loves it.  Thx to Cam! Now i have room to add stuff to my handlebars, should I  decide to do so. Came with nice grips too.

That looks so comfortable, but I'll stick with clip-ons. I will suffer for my art. ::)

I have one Wolf with the clip bars and one without and I think as much as the bars the seat choice and suspension tune make almost as big a difference on position/comfort. I have the classic seat from cam with the standard bars and it sits way more upright than when I had stock seat on the bike.  Cafe seat seams to have effect of raising you a bit with clip-ons vs stock as well. Depends on your arm length, riding position and preference I think.

Yeah I've got fairly long arms. With the new bars I'm  noticing more wind pushing me back but thats not a big deal. That green thing on my seat is a knee pad. It raises my seat a bit plus gives me added comfort. Maybe someday I'll replace the seat.  My ideal seat height is prolly 33 inches.

I purchased a xl long gel pad insert under my cafe style seat bc it was way to hard.  You can get them on amazon or eBay and all you need to do is remove seat cover ( not completely, just leave the front of seat on) and slide under then recover. All sorts of ways to do it.

It looks great! Even more like a vintage cb125.

That said, I prefer clip-ons! Just for the racy cafe bike feel.
