Genuine G400C
« on: July 04, 2017, 08:02:05 AM »
My local dealer sez his 3 ordered G400C Genuine motorcycles are due to arrive this week.
I can't wait to throw a leg over one. I love my Wolf, but that 400cc 4-valve dual exhaust thumper is very compelling. Another big advantage  is that this dealer is 6 miles away- my Sym dealer is about 25 miles away. More later.

Where are you located? Or more to the point- where are the Genuine bikes you speak of located? I would love to check one out too!
2012 Sym Wolf, 1974 MZ TS250, early 1950s Soviet M72, 1967 Triumph Bonneville, 1971 BMW R75/5, 1978 BMW R100s.

I'm in the Kansas City metro area. That Suzukis seat is way too low. I've always owned only UJM type motorcycles.

I'm in Wichita, but I'm in KC often visiting friends and camping on some land south of Ottawa.
Where can I go look at a Genuine bike at?

So they're finally in shops? I've been patiently waiting since I saw the scooterfile review.

I always wanted one of these thumpers, i know they convert some of them to cafe' style !  http://thekneeslider.com/ryca-cs-1-suzuki-s40-cafe-conversion/  I think that would be a lot of fun to do!

That bike looks great👍🏻 Nice to see the singles coming back. Saw this single cylinder bike that also had dual exhaust ports for sale, a model my brother bought new and I got to ride it quite a bit... This seller will even give you the formula for the fuel it needs 🐎🐎 😜 https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/mcy/6201524994.html

The Honda Ascot was named after a 1/2 mile dirt race track in Gardena, CA, not far from American Honda's North American HQ. The track in now gone, but...I saw this thing on the road, that was built in that same city and I almost 💩 myself.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ow0xABGHRw0 Amazing stuff

Wow - that Genuine bike looks like it came right off the Sym Wolf assembly line! Do we know if Sym is supplying some of the parts? I can see the draw of the 400cc's.  I look forward to more reviews down the road. Thanks for posting.

Ok so today i visit my local Genuine dealer in Overland Park KS. Its named Scooterworld.
I asked about the G400s that were supposed to arrive this past week. NOPE!
They are supposedly aboard a container ship out in the Pacific Ocean still. Of course- there's no guarantee they'll arrive in August either.....therefore- my ardor has cooled for these Genuine G400C motorcycles. Gonna modify my wolf instead.

By the time the Genuine hits these shores the Husqvarna vitpilen 401 will be in shops. More money of course but one hell of a bike. A KTM duke at the core but not ugly like the duke.

It's there, but you can't get to it from Genuine's home page. So I guess it's there waiting for the bike to arrive, whenever that happens.
