For sale in Toronto - Custom SYM
« on: April 30, 2017, 07:07:45 AM »
2013 100CC custom SYM. Kms 1350

As-is $1000

This vintage-look/army-looking bike was originally a 2013 black/white Symba . See SYM website for details
http://www.symcanada.com/

I am selling AS-IS. Not currently running and haven't been able to figure out the problem. Needs a boost before you can try tinkering with it (has been sitting over the winter).

Buy to try and fix it up or for parts. Seat, handlebars, tail light, signals, mirror are all barely used - only ridden for 2 months. Paid $1900 for it used, added $700 of custom work. Comes with 2 keys. I also have almost all original parts that came off the bike if you're interested.

Decided to buy a new bike and move on.

Please email to tubes9@hotmail.com for photos and additional info.

Nice job on the customization, I like the false fuel tank.
What problems are you having with it not starting.
Maybe I can help a bit as I now have a fair amount of experience with the Symba, as mine wouldn't start from new and I have it running pretty good now.

Hi thanks for the offer -

Basically it just started puttering out despite how much gas I have it. It starts but does pretty quickly even at idle. A few mechanics looked at it and couldn't figure anything out. Battery, spark plug, carbs, all tubes and electronics checked or replaced and the problem persists. Nobody seems to be able to figure it out.

Hi Tubes. Yes trouble shooting this issue can be frustrating to say the least. Rather than trying to do that by messaging you a ton of information, I found a couple of great videos on trouble shooting these types of engines. The video is of a scooter but the principle is the same for the Symba. They are not very complicated, but unless you understand the complete system, it can seem daunting.
So if you are slightly mechanically inclined, I'm sure you'll be able to get her up and running properly. By the way I really like what you did to her. Looks awesome.
If I can help in any way, let me know.
