What are the differences between the Fiddle II and III?
« on: March 11, 2017, 01:05:49 PM »
Hi :) I'm new to the forum. I'm a musician and I live in Poland :-) For six months I own SYM Fiddle III 125. You can write what are the differences between Version II and III? The engine and drive components differ in these models? Variator Malossi Multiwar dedicated to Fiddle II will fit my model?

My scooter is produced in 2015. I bought it new in 2016. European version 125cc. Carburetor. I thought that the model III mainly changed layout and other small details. It turned out that the changes also apply to the motor that has a raised power. Kits Malossi to fiddle II and III differ spring clutch:

Has anyone experience with replacement variator in Sym Fiddle III? There are different opinions about them ... Some recommend Malossi Multwar 2000 and other Polini Maxi Hi-Speed ... I would like to make a small modification of my SYM and very hard to find me information on the model III ...

Sorry I can't help with your problem concerning the engine but I can tell you that most of the accessories from a Fiddle II fit onto the Fiddle III.
I always blame it on old age

That's right. However, some parts of the engine accessories are different.

Today I know that the differences between these models are large. Fiddle II has an engine GY6 152QMI and Fiddle III XS1P52QMI-3B ( like in the new Peugeot Django 125cc ). The axis of the variator has a different diameter and probably will be other differences in the structure. Clutch is the same.

Do you have any experience with the exchange of the variator Fiddle II 125? Someone has Multiwar 2000?
