Well I Did It. Got An Old Honda
« on: February 10, 2017, 03:00:11 PM »
OK, so this is not the one i posted before with all the mods (and the expensive price tag) but I found an identical 1972 Honda CB350 twin with 4300 original miles for WAY cheaper than the other one.

Pulled the trigger and bought it yesterday and boy is it sure fun to ride. It also seems to fit nicely in my garage along side the Wolf so I really don't want to get rid of the Wolf. I think it is a better commuter bike anyway.

Well, just thought I would share. Really happy about this bike. Going to do just a few minor mods to it.

Hahahah, to be honest these aren't all that much faster than the wolf. It is however, MUCH MUCH LOUDER!

God I couldn't believe how loud this thing is.

Seriously right? My 1966 CA77 Honda Dream 305 makes ~24 hp, nearly 10 more than the Wolf, and I swear it's not any faster, except for more torque on takeoff.

Yep. Loads of torque. No chance of stalling this thing on takeoff. Even if your in second gear.

Well, these are interesting comments because I've been looking for a Honda 350 twin. Have you guys seen the MashTT40 available in Europe? It's the same engine as the Genuine 400 that's overdue to the North American market which is a bike that's nearly identical as the Honda 400s I saw in Japan. The Genuine and MASH are made in Mainland China but the fit and finish is great according to what I've read. Supposedly the Genuine is caught up in emissions testing. Anyways, I would love one or the other.
