Advice wanted, looking at Sym scooter
« on: November 20, 2016, 09:40:15 AM »
Hi guys

I'm on the market for a maxi scooter in my country and has been offered a Sym GTS300i Evo for a very nice price.
It's a 2009 which has driven under 30k kilometers. Starts well, looks ok except for a missing screw in the dashboard, but...

- What do I need to be aware of when inspecting it?
- Does this model have any problems I should know about?
- I guess 30k kilometers in 7 years is nothing to this kind of scooter?

Help me out, experts :)

I would take it to a local scooter/motorcycle mechanic and have him check it out It's better to be on the safe side and have peace of mind and then you can make an informed decision I hope it works out for you and have a good one

You'd be better off posting this question on the appropriate scooter model page. I think it's the Citycom300 here in America. Almost everyone on that page will currently own one or have owned one in the past and would be able to be of help to you.
