Beautiful bike! Thanks for posting the photo. It's nice to see what one looks like, since we can't get them in the US.

Thanks, it's been turning heads over the last couple of days! Sorry to hear you can't get them, my son lives in NYC and tells me scooters (and motorcycles in general) are like hen's teeth there, I'm guessing that's because of the bad winters, because from my experience of the traffic in Manhattan and the beautiful countryside outside the city, they would make a lot of sense!

Unfortunately, everyone over here seems to think that a car is the only viable means of transportation. It's hard to change that mindset in a culture so wrapped up in the automobile that they can't see how efficient the scooter is for 95% of all their commuter needs. Even most people riding are on giant 1200 cc Harleys. But slowly we are getting the word out about the benefits of owning a scooter....

Good luck with that!...From what I saw of a lot of American cars, they are also unnecessarily big, the equation of sq/ft of road space to cubic/ft of passenger and luggage space just doesn't make sense, a couple of taxi's I took were huge, like barges on wheels, but we struggled to get the luggage in the boot (trunk), I also didn't feel like I had much room in the back, whereas the luggage fitted easily into an E Class Mercedes on this side of the pond, and I didn't feel condensed in the back...And I won't go into the Harley thing!
