Fuel gauge stuck/faulty
« on: March 21, 2016, 03:29:44 AM »
Hi all,

My Fiddle 50 has been in the garage all winter in temps down to -15. I've been out to start it up and keep the engine going usually once a week. Had a few weekends when it was too cold to start, but now the weather is warmer it starts virtually first time every time. Yesterday, though, I took it out to top up the tank which I'd been running down slowly all winter. I filled up and the fuel gauge didn't jump up to the "full" mark. It moves off the needle rest at the bottom, but then hovers around the "empty" line.

Any one have an idea what has caused this to happen all of a sudden?
