CITICOM 300 SEAT HEIGHT
« on: October 15, 2015, 01:16:31 PM »
Hello,
I'm considering the Citicom 300 but I'm worried about the seat height as I'm 5'8". I have seen in the reviews seat height quoted as 33", 32" and even 31.50.  I believe Syms quotes as 31.50.  This a concern as my inseam is probable about 30".

Thanks for your response.

I was going to measure the seat height for you but I had my seat customized and recovered. Plus, my rear sags as both shocks are getting tired from riding 2 up all the time and we (wife and I) do kinda abuse it sometimes. Just Gotta Scoot web site did a great write up on both versions of the CityCom. If you end up with one you will not be disappointed. The only close comparison is a Piaggio BV350 (faster but ugly IMHO) but our local(ish) dealer rarely gets any in stock because they end up sitting on the showroom floor forever. I like the big wheels a lot, and I would consider another City if the passenger area fit my short wife better.

This is all good information, as I am also considering a Citycom and I too am 5' 7" with a 30" inseam. There's a gorgeous one sitting on the showroom floor calling out my name.....some day.
