Wolf Classic 150 / Cleaned my carburetor today
« on: June 19, 2017, 02:54:57 PM »
My Wolf has been running a little funky lately so I took a few minutes and dropped the carb bowl and pulled the 2 jets.
Cleaned the jets with carb cleaner and a small piece of fine copper wire - washed the finished jets in a strong dishwash soap solution and re-installed.
Bike runs like new !!

I have close to 15,000 miles on the bike and I haven't cleaned the carb for nearly 10,000 .......
I won't let it go so long next time  8)

Wolf Classic 150 / Spring thaw
« on: March 29, 2017, 11:08:50 AM »
It was nice here in The Great Lakes on the weekend and I took The Wolf out for a nice 100km (60 mile) run.
After a minute running on choke and getting warmed up for the first time in a few months Wolfie was off & running as well as last summer.
New plug, fresh oil, fresh gas and we're set to go for another season !!  ;)

Party on, Dudes !!  8)

Wolf Classic 150 / Going to the dark side.

I ordered a manual fuel petcock for my Wolf .. one with a "res" reserve.

I'm going to see if that solves a couple of my fuel anomalies
and I won't be left with the problem of having about 10 miles of fuel remaining when the light came on  :P

It's almost Christmas time !!

I already have a new set of tires for the Wolf under the tree .
My list for Santa includes a couple of NGK D7EA plugs, a case of Rotella T oil and a can of chain lube.

I hope you all have a great Christmas.  :)

Take care.

Wolf Classic 150 / Hibernation

I think the season is over here in S.W. Ontario.  :-\

I cleaned the Wolf up, oiled his chain, changed the oil, shot a few drops of oil down the spark plug hole and wheeled him into the shed for a winter nap.  ;)

This was a great riding season and I put over 10,000Km on this year making the ODO read over 21,000 KM.

The Wolf continues to improve in performance, smoothness and overall "fun" !
I'm very glad I bought my Wolf and look forward to spring to bring him out of hibernation.

I picked up a good used Suzuki S40 for highway cruising with Mama Bear.
The color of it is metallic Fox Orange so now I have a Wolf and a Fox ...

Wolf Classic 150 / Replacement headlight bulb
« on: September 01, 2016, 04:59:09 PM »
My low beam burned out a couple of weeks ago.

I ordered one of these lamps and it works perfectly. Dirt cheap - drop in simple.  ;)

Wolf Classic 150 / American Wolf owners
« on: August 24, 2016, 01:25:09 PM »
I live in Canada and recently tried through my dealer and the Canadian SYM distributor to get a correct wiring diagram for our North American Wolf Classic 150.
No dice !! The only thing available is the Taiwan diagram like Cam has on scooterseals.com that is "similar" to our Wolfs but different in the handlebar switches and functions.

Would someone in the US contact their dealer and get a correct wiring diagram or contact Alliance directly there in the USA.

Let us know if you find a correct wiring diagram.

I recently turned over 15,000Km on my Wolf.

I usually change the oil every 1,000Km and have used Petro-Canada Duron-E 15W-40 for the last 6 changes.

I used Shell Rotella T 15W-40 this oil change and the difference is a marked improvement in engine smoothness, quietness and shifting ease. It's hard to believe that a comparable oil could be so much nicer.
I have 8 qts of Shell so I'm good to go for a while now.  ;)
